In which I refuse to be puzzled by an allegedly confusing circumstance in the episode.

In which I note that Magda, having inherited Julia’s habit of addressing herself to “Barnabas Barnabas,” has started speaking to “Quentin Quentin.”

In which I point out that the Charles/ Amanda relationship starts as an inversion of the Vicki/ Jeff relationship.

Why I don’t think that either Magda or King Johnny has been in Boston all that long.

In which I am surprised that Grayson Hall seems to be using her own native accent throughout the episode.

Dr Julia Hoffman and her habit of pronouncing people dead, sometimes the same person twice in one day.

In which it appears that Dan Curtis has delegated to one of the characters the task of firing an actress from the show.

I note that Count Petofi does not fully understand the powers of his Hand.

In which I opine that the show would be more interesting if Barnabas were smarter.
